Job Description

The University of Maryland is currently accepting applications for an Agricultural Technician position (FT, with benefits) at our Western Maryland Research and Education Center (WMREC) located in Keedysville, MD 21756.

This position will perform agricultural field tasks such as –

• tilling,


• planting,


• spraying, 


• fertilizing,


• harvesting of traditional and non-traditional agronomic and horticultural crops and research plots.

Minimum Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED,


• three (3) years of experience in agriculture work,


• one (1) of which must have been in agricultural research.
