Superior Skilled Trades has immediate needs for experienced Journeyman Carpenters for jobsites in Madison, WI and surrounding areas within 40 miles. Must be able to travel between jobsites for continued employment, temp to hire.

Position: Carpenter Journeyman
Pay: $30 to $36 per hour ( Weekly Pay!)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (OT and weekend work as needed)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct, install, and repair wood, steel, and other structural materials
• Perform stick framing and metal stud framing for walls, ceilings, and partitions
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Install doors, frames, blocking, and other carpentry components
• Collaborate with other trades for smooth project execution
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials using hand and power tools
• Maintain a safe and organized job site

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of carpentry experience , including 2+ years in heavy commercial carpentry work
• Steel Stud experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Must have your hand tools
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Job requires the use of proper PPE : Work boots, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves

Superior Skilled Trades has an immediate need for experienced Concrete Finishers for commercial projects in Madison, WI and surrounding areas within 40 miles. These are temp-to-hire positions offering long term career opportunities, if you can commute between jobsites.

Pay: $28 – $35 per hour (paid weekly)
Duration: Temp-to-hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Overtime and weekends as needed)
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Place, finish, and cure concrete for slabs, floors, and other flatwork
• Operate walk-behind power trowels with precision
• Perform jointing, broom finishing, edging, and bull floating
• Assist in setting forms, pouring concrete, and raking as needed
• Ensure high-quality, level, and properly textured concrete surfaces
• Follow construction drawings, plans, and site specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Collaborate with the crew to complete work on time and to spec

Requirements:

• Minimum 4-5 years of concrete finishing experience
• At least 2 years operating walk-behind power trowels
• Strong skills in brooming, edging, jointing, and use of bull floating
• Experience with commercial construction projects
• Must be able to assist with form setting, pouring, and raking when needed
• Must have reliable transportation and your own basic tools
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Job requires proper use of PPE : work boots, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves
