Key Responsibilities

• Beverage Preparation:

  Crafting and serving hot and cold drinks, such as specialty coffees, teas, and other drinks, according to company recipes and customer preferences.

• Customer Service:

  Greeting customers, taking orders, answering questions about menu items and ingredients, and handling payments through point-of-sale (POS) systems.

• Equipment Operation:

  Operating and maintaining coffee-making machinery, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewers.

• Workstation Maintenance:

  Keeping the work area, equipment, and seating areas clean, sanitary, and organized.

• Stock Management:

  Monitoring, replenishing, and ordering supplies like beans, milk, cups, and other products.

• Food Handling:

  Preparing and serving food items, such as pastries, sandwiches, or other small snacks, if applicable to the venue.

• Team Collaboration:

  Working effectively with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow and a positive customer experience.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and create a welcoming atmosphere.

• Attention to Detail: Precision in preparing drinks and handling orders to meet customer specifications and quality standards.

• Multitasking: The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy, fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of Coffee: Understanding of coffee beans, blends, and various brewing methods.

• Food Safety: Adherence to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a healthy environment.

• Basic Math/POS System Skills: Competency in handling cash and credit card transactions accurately.
