We are a small business that started in 1998. Since that time, we currently have over 30 employees and operate from a 50,000 sq. ft. facility in Dayton, OH. We are a automation systems integrator who specializes in robotic automation including material handling, die cast/foundery systems, vision solutions, dispensing, and assembly test and other applications.

Job Details

This position provides PLC/HMI programming to support the design, implementation, startup, and support our equipment.

Duties:

• Design all electrical schematics of automated equipment and robotic work cells
• Perform clean sheet programming
• Prepare offline programs before commissioning
• Debugging and completion of programs
• Complete bill of materials and support purchasing activities
• Write equipment operations manuals
• Conduct and document risk assessment of equipment

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in related field
• Minimum of an Associate’s degree
• Valid driver’s license
• AutoCad design (or similar 2D)
• PLC Programming (AB, Mitsubishi, Omron or Siemens)
• HMI Programming (AB and Mitsubishi)
• Ability to travel throughout the US of up to 25% of the time.
• Understanding of industry safety requirements and design practices

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in robotic programming (FANUC, Motoman, ABB)
• Experience with Cognex or Fanuc iRVision Systems
• Experience in project management
