• Responsible for the guidance and management of regulatory policies and programs related to HACCP.
\n
• Ensure compliance with federal poultry, sanitation and HACCP regulations.
\n
• Act as liaison between FSIS and facility.
\n
• Assist in maintenance of food safety systems, including but not limited to HACCP, SSOPs and prerequisite programs.
\n
• Maintain record keeping systems, tracking food safety data.
\n
• Review documented corrective actions and preventive measures for SSOPs and HACCP programs, ensuring intentions of regulatory requirements are met.
\n
• Collect data and information responding to USDA non-compliances.
\n
• Develop and deliver food safety training courses propagating a healthy food safety system.
\n
• Provide direction to QA regarding regulatory matters.
\n
• All other relevant tasks as needed.
\n

\n
• Bachelor of Science degree in Poultry, Animal, Food Science or other closely related field preferred.
  
\n
• Excellent quality assurance and regulatory experience.
  
\n
• Food manufacturing experience, preferably within poultry industry.
  
\n
• HACCP Certification from an approved HACCP Alliance Institution required.
  
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
\n
