Your Primary Responsibilities: Supervise and care for dogs, ensuring their safety, health, and well-being. Monitor and report any changes in a dog's behavior, mood, or physical condition. Manage scheduling and administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate health records for each dog. Build and maintain strong relationships with pet owners through clear communication and excellent customer service. Handle high-pressure situations with patience and tact. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, ensuring smooth operations and optimal dog care. Adapt to changing roles and responsibilities as required by the day-to-day operations. Ensure a clean and hygienic environment for both the dogs and staff. Skills we look for: Love for Animals: A genuine affection for dogs and joy in working with them. Patience & Self-Control: Handling unpredictability and challenges from dogs and clients with calmness. Empathy: Understand the emotions and needs of both dogs and their owners. Attentiveness: Spot changes in dog behavior or health. Good Communication: Clearly convey information to all stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Address issues swiftly, whether scheduling or dog-related. Reliability & Strong Work Ethic: Offer consistency, punctuality, and a dependable service. Adaptability: Adjust to varied roles, changing schedules, and diverse work scenarios. Physical Requirements: This is an active, physical job that requires standing, walking, and moving for extended periods. You will occasionally need to lift and carry heavy items or pups and work in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy environment. Ideal Past Experience: Dog Daycare Worker, Kennel Assistant, Animal Shelter Volunteer: For hands-on experience with dog care, behavior, and administrative tasks. Hotel Front Desk Agent: For experience in multitasking, scheduling, and customer service. Pet Sitter, Dog Trainer, Dog Walker: Demonstrating direct pet care and understanding of individual pet needs. Restaurant Server or Manager: For handling high-pressure situations and multitasking. Nanny or Child Care Worker: Highlighting patience and responsibility for the well-being of those under supervision. Medical Receptionist: For dealing with records, understanding medical terminology, and maintaining confidentiality.
