The LPN provides patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses or prescribers, coordinating with other departments to deliver multidisciplinary treatment plans in a fast-paced hospital unit. This part-time night position requires a Practical Nursing Degree, current LPN license, Basic Life Support, and IV certification, focusing on caring for chronically ill patients of all ages. Many of the patients are chronically ill and require multidiscipline treatment plans and goals. As part of the health care team, you will help educate patients on a wide variety of topics ranging from procedural/surgical expectations to what medications patients will be taking once discharged.
