Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Mainframe developer for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH. You will develop and maintain mainframe applications while ensuring robust DB2 and CICS administration.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Mainframe developer job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using DB2 and CICS technologies.

• Perform DB2 administration tasks, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.

• Manage CICS administration activities to ensure system stability and efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices for mainframe development.

• Provide production support and resolve issues related to mainframe applications and databases.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 6–8 years of experience in mainframe application development and administration.

• Hands-on expertise in Mainframe DB2 application development and DB2 administration.

• Strong knowledge of CICS administration and ability to manage complex mainframe environments.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
