Job Description:
Are you an experienced caregiver who is calm, alert, and deeply dependable even in the overnight hours?

One You Love Homecare Waco is hiring for a specialized overnight caregiver role supporting seniors in their homes or assisted living environments. This is a position of trust requiring emotional maturity, strong redirection skills, and unwavering attentiveness not a shift to sleep through.

Shift:
8 - 12 hour overnight shifts

Responsibilities:

• Remain awake, alert, and present for the full shift
• Provide hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) during the night as needed (e.g., transfers, hygiene, repositioning)
• Assist with toileting and incontinence care
• Respond promptly to any changes in client condition
• Communicate clearly with daytime staff and family
• Maintain detailed overnight notes and follow care plans
• Offer reassurance and redirection to clients experiencing confusion or dementia-related behaviors

What We're Looking For:

• Experienced caregiver requested by family for personal care needs
• Experience with overnight care and ADLs preferred
• Ability to assist with transfers and provide hands-on personal care
• Must remain awake for entire shift
• Reliable transportation and punctuality required
• Must pass background check
• Background check and drug screening may be required prior to hire
