Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Control Specialist for our maintenance shop. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance activities by managing inventory, receiving and storing parts, and maintaining a safe work environment. The successful candidate will adhere to Tyson Foods' policies and procedures. We highly recommend attaching a resume with your application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Issuing Tools and Parts: Distribute tools, parts, and equipment to workers, maintaining accurate records of items issued and returned.
• Inventory Management: Control and organize parts room inventory, ensuring all items are properly stocked and identified.
• Order Processing: Identify and order necessary parts and equipment to maintain adequate inventory levels.
• Record Keeping: Maintain all required records pertaining to maintenance parts, including tracking usage and managing documentation.
• Locating Items: Assist in locating lost or misplaced tools and parts.
• Maintenance Support: Provide support to maintenance personnel by ensuring they have the necessary tools and parts to perform their tasks efficiently.

Requirements:

• Experience: General knowledge and experience with parts and tools are preferred. Inventory experience is also desirable.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are required. Proficiency with Excel and SAP is preferred.
