Payroll Manager
Location: Eatontown, NJ
Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead their payroll operations and ensure accurate, timely processing for a high-volume, multi-state workforce. This role requires strong leadership experience, in-depth knowledge of UKG and ADP , and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end payroll operations for a large, multi-state employee population.

• Lead and mentor the payroll team, ensuring efficient workflows and high accuracy.

• Manage high-volume payroll processing using UKG and ADP systems.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

• Handle payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting requirements.

• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to resolve payroll issues and improve processes.

• Drive continuous improvement in payroll procedures, internal controls, and data integrity.

• Stay current on regulatory changes and payroll best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field preferred).

• Prior payroll management/supervisory experience is required.

• Strong working knowledge of UKG and ADP payroll systems.

• Proven experience with multi-state payroll and high-volume processing .

• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.
