Job Description:

The Manager, Configuration Management role will be responsible for management and oversight of the daily activities of 5 teams across 2 sites that consists of configuration/data management, software configuration management, and technical editing specialists.

Essential Functions:

• C ommunicate within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures.
• Make moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes.
• Contribute to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results.
• Team leadership, staffing to include forecasting and hiring.
• Develop, monitor, analyze and act based on team operational metrics.
• Must be familiar with configuration and data management specifications, and configuration control of military and commercial (FAA) documents.
• Knowledge of the conduct of functional and physical configuration audits desired.
• Must possess strong computer skills. (Microsoft Office programs)
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with nine (9) years of Configuration and Data Management experience.
• Graduate Degree with seven (7) years of Configuration and Data experience.
• In Lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of Configuration and Data Management experience.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Basic aircraft knowledge.
