Job Description
Hours: 8:00 - 5:00 Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
Pay Range: $28.00 - $30.00

The Public Health Nurse provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, often working in clinics. The role will encompass patient assessment, medication administration, monitoring, vaccination, procedure assistance, and health education. The PHN will document patient information accurately and may engage in health promotion and prevention activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Education/Experience: Graduation from an accredited nursing school, BSN preferred. Must have one year of nursing experience. Experience in an office setting preferred. Fluency in English and Spanish preferred
License: Must have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina. Must also have a current, valid North Carolina driver's license. Must complete the introduction to Public Health Credential course within the first year of employment.
