Role: Senior Software Engineer – Python, AWS & Kubernetes
Location: Broadway, NYC (Hybrid – Onsite required frequently)
Duration: Long-term
Interview: In-person required (NY/NJ local preferred)
Experience Level: 10+ years

Requirements(Must-Have Skills)

• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
• Ability to develop high-quality code and solve complex technical problems
• Experience building web applications & APIs
• Solid understanding of AJAX, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
• Expert Python Web Development (Django, FastAPI)
• AWS Cloud Developer (Certified preferred)
• Experience with AWS API Gateway
• Hands-on Docker containerization
• Hands-on Kubernetes (EKS) deployment
• Experience with AWS IAM (Identity Center)
• Knowledge of server & serverless deployment strategies
• Experience with PowerShell and Bash scripting
• Strong SQL & Oracle PL/SQL skills
• Experience with Financial/Revenue Applications is a plu

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement custom modules and APIs using Python
• Build real-time transaction systems for ticket validation
• Develop backend APIs and contribute to front-end development
• Build internal and external web application interfaces
• Work with cross-functional teams in Agile planning & review sessions
• Create documentation, participate in code reviews & standups
• Provide accurate estimations and feature prioritization recommendations
• Assist in release/deployment planning
• Test applications for cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility
• Ensure UI/UX best practices and usability standards
• Conduct user testing and validate designs against accessibility guidelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field
• Strong understanding of HTML, JavaScript, CSS
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Knowledge of SEO coding best practices (plus)
• Advanced experience with Python, PHP, SQL/Oracle PL/SQL
• Strong experience with OOP, data modeling & system design
• Experience with 3rd-party integrations & tools
• Knowledge of Web Application Security
• Proficient in AWS Cloud Development and Deployment
