Bright Ice is hiring for our team at our shop in St Petersburg!

At Bright Ice we’re searching for team members who have excellent customer service skills, and who will greet all of our customers with a smile. You’ll become knowledgeable about how we make our flavors (and try them all!), and explain them to our guests as they try samples. You’ll learn how to make espresso-based coffee drinks, and join a fun group of individuals who like working together as a team, as you help make Bright Ice an amazing place to work!

Responsibilities:

• Interface with customers, take their orders, and process payments
• Scoop ice cream and serve espresso-based drinks
• Make waffle cones and fill pint containers of ice cream
• Maintain a clean store by cleaning floors, dishes, and all public areas
• Follow all inventory-tracking procedures

Requirements:

• Must be able to work some weekday mornings, and be able to close evening shifts as well
• Be available to work at least 3-4 days each week, including weekends
• Must have an outgoing personality
• Can stand on your feet for extended periods of time
• Be able to perform physically demanding tasks
• Ability to lift 10-20 pounds
• Work in close proximity to others
• Acquire a Food Handler's card within 60 days of hire date. Certification will happen through Bright Ice.
• Strict adherence to all hygiene and cleanliness standards

Desirable Qualifications:

• A dedicated person who is looking for a fun place to work!
• Someone who can provide top-level customer service
• Someone who is energetic, positive, and has the ability to communicate effectively to customers, team members, and supervisors
• Previous experience in the quick-serve restaurant industry is a plus (cafes, barista experience, etc)
• Employees who are available for opening and closing shifts

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $14.00 - $16.50/hour.
