Shift Details

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Unit Ratio: 1:6

Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts, Every Other Weekend Required

Holiday Requirement: 3 out of 6 holidays

Job Summary

Our Emergency Department (ED) RNs are essential in providing critical care to patients during their most vulnerable moments. In addition to offering specialized and innovative services, our ED RNs must be prepared to handle a wide range of emergency situations for patients of all ages.

ED nurses are trained to respond effectively to various trauma circumstances, requiring prompt and decisive action. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health issues, prioritizing their medical needs accordingly.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience working in an Emergency Department environment.


• ED experience within the last six months.


• Demonstrated level of performance and practice.


• Strong clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.


• Proficient in a wide variety of professional nursing services.


• Effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare personnel.

Certifications & Licensure

• Active NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.


• BLS (AHA certified).


• ACLS.


• Telemetry certified.


• PALS.


• NIHSS.


• CEU Contact Stroke - 4 Hours.

Work Schedule

This position guarantees 36 hours per week over a contract period of 89 weeks.
