Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, angiograms, nephograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, and drainages • Conduct vascular studies and procedures including upper and lower extremity, abdominal and pelvic, and genitourinary studies • Provide neurological interventional services including stroke intervention and body procedures • Operate Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures • Perform venous access procedures including central line placement and PICC line care • Conduct specialized procedures such as stent placement, embolization, thrombolysis, and vertebroplasty • Maintain current BLS and ARRT certifications • Utilize PACS system for image management and Epic charting system for documentation • Work first shift with staggered start times between 0700-0830 for 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday • Participate in weekend and evening/night on-call rotation as primary and backup coverage • Handle daily caseload of 13-17 patients across adult, geriatric, and adolescent age groups • Complete hospital orientation during first week and remain fully available Monday through Friday • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules (non-billable hours) • Maintain valid state licensure (NC or Compact license required) • Provide two manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) • Adhere to fatigue policy of no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week • Float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals based on census and skill requirements
