Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading $facility_type$ in Tarzana, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, carotid stenting, and catheter/drain exchanges
• Provide central venous access services including non-tunneled/PICC lines, tunneled ports, and port placement
• Conduct chest tube placement, dialysis graft creation/revision, and embolization procedures
• Perform gastrostomy tube placement, liver biopsies, and nephrostomy procedures
• Execute percutaneous procedures including transhepatic cholangiograms and transluminal coronary angioplasty
• Provide PICC line care and maintenance services
• Perform specialized procedures including kyphoplasty and peripheral interventions
• Conduct thoracentesis, upper and lower extremity angiography, and ureteral stent placement
• Provide hemodynamic monitoring and utilize PACS system
• Handle outpatient procedures including contrast studies and biopsies
• Maintain current ARRT, BLS, Fluoro Permit, and state licensure certifications
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Provide care to adult and geriatric patient populations with preferred pediatric and adolescent experience
• Handle daily caseloads of typically up to 6 cases
• Participate in on-call coverage 1-2 days per week and rotating weekends
• Float between facilities within the state as required
• Complete 16 hours of orientation training
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Maintain current LA Fire Card certification
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Work 3 out of 5 major holidays as required
• Utilize facility-provided communication devices when necessary
