Job Description & RequirementsThis position offers SAME-DAY INTERVIEWS!\nQualified candidates should be prepared to receive a call from a (405) area code.\n\nOverview:\nAs a member of the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills to deliver and manage patient care through the nursing process.\n\nRadius Rule:\n\nLocals within 50 miles are accepted\n\nLocal rate applies: 10% bill rate reduction\n\nOrientation:\n\nNon -billable orientation: 16 hours\n\nSystem & Pay Details:\n\nEMR: EPIC\n\nOT/Holiday Multiplier: 1.15x\n\nCall Back: 1.5x (2-hour minimum)\n\nOn-Call Rate: $9/hr\n\nCharge/Precept: $6/hr\n\nBillable Overtime:\n\nFor 36–40 hrs/week schedules → OT billable after 40 hrs\n\nFor 48 hrs/week schedules → OT billable after 48 hrs\n\n2025 Holiday Requirements:\n\nMust work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s)\n\nRTO limits: Only 1 day off allowed between\n\n11/26/25–11/30/25\n\n12/23/25–1/2/26\n(Applies to all travelers regardless of holiday assignments)\n\nFloating Requirements:\n\nWill float across all Des Moines campuses to like units as needed.
