Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Non-CDL Truck Driver to join our team. This position involves operating company vehicles that do not require a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) while ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods. A valid driver’s license and current DOT medical certificate/physical are required.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate company trucks/vans under 26,000 lbs. GVW (no CDL required).
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle issues.
Load, unload, and secure freight to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
Deliver goods to customers, job sites, or company locations in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and electronic records as required.
Adhere to DOT regulations, company safety policies, and traffic laws.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups.
Assist with warehouse or yard duties when not driving.
Requirements:
Valid state driver’s license (no CDL required).
Current DOT physical/medical certificate required.
Clean driving record and ability to pass a background and drug screening.
Ability to lift up to [X lbs.] and perform manual labor as needed.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience driving box trucks, flatbeds, or similar vehicles.
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
Familiarity with local routes and traffic laws.
