Wound Care Physician Opportunity in Atlanta, GA

We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Physician for either part-time or full-time roles, specializing in bedside wound management within post-acute care environments, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. This position offers clinical independence, flexible scheduling, and eliminates the need for night or weekend shifts. The role involves travel to various facilities within a 40-60 mile radius. Physicians will benefit from paid training, a wound care fellowship, and competitive compensation, which includes malpractice insurance and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications:

• Possession of an active, unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice.
• A minimum commitment of three weekdays per week is required.

Practice Details:

• Full-time hours are Monday to Friday (7 AM - 4 PM), with part-time options available.
• No on-call duties or weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Physicians provide contemporary wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Weekly wound rounds are conducted at each facility.
• Part-time roles require a minimum of three days per week, while full-time roles typically involve four to five days per week.
• This is a mobile practice, with physicians visiting facilities within a 40-60 mile radius of their practice location.
• Physicians typically visit 2-3 facilities daily, treating approximately 20-30 patients each day.
• Clinical documentation is performed in real-time at the point of care using our proprietary wound-specific EMR system.
• Paid training is provided during onboarding, along with a six-month wound care fellowship.
• This position is offered as a W2 employment contract (work visa sponsorship is not available).
