Learn more at Location: USA - Atlanta, 3705 Wilson Rd Role: Freight Forwarder Air Import responsible for the timely import of goods by air, including customs clearance and delivery coordination with airlines, customs, and trucking companies. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage air import shipments, customs clearance, and final delivery. Coordinate with airlines, customs, and trucking companies for timely delivery. Track shipments and update customers accordingly. Prepare and submit customs documentation such as invoices and bills of lading. Ensure compliance with customs and trade laws. Maintain excellent customer relationships and service. Educational and Experience Requirements: Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or related fields preferred. Experience in air imports highly desirable. Basic math skills for cost and rate calculations. Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and Business Acumen: Understanding of air freight logistics and customs regulations. Knowledge of trade laws; fluency in English required; additional languages a plus. Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with logistics software preferred. Employment Type: At-will employment, with the right to terminate employment at any time, and DSV's right to do the same, subject to legal restrictions.
